About the Buying Committee Map
The Buying Committee Map is a worksheet for account executives, sales engineers and customer success managers. You list the people on the customer side of a deal or renewal, place each one by influence on the decision and support for your proposal, tag their buying role (economic buyer, champion, technical evaluator, user, blocker and others), and record who reports to whom.
The map then shows prompts — for example an economic buyer nobody has reached, or a deal that runs through a single supporter — and builds an engagement plan with next steps, owners and due dates. You can drag people on the map, export JSON or CSV, print one page, download a vector PDF, or save the map as a PNG or SVG picture for a deal-review slide.
What it is not
It is not a CRM, a lead database or a scoring model. The prompts are simple, published rules applied to the ratings you enter; they are review aids, not predictions about the deal or judgements about people. The rules are listed on the main page.
How it works
The map runs entirely in your web browser. What you enter is processed on your device and saved in this browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and the tool never contacts anyone. Exports are created on your device.
Who makes it
The Buying Committee Map is part of Toolwoven, a small independent collection of free browser tools, each focused on one practical task.
See the privacy notice for details on storage.
